I paint to interpret what I see around me in nature, whether it's plants, animals, or landscapes. Capturing light is key to the luminance and emotion I portray in my works.

Denise Robinson is a native of Texas who has lived across the US in California, New York and South Carolina. She currently resides in the Low Country in Pawleys Island, SC. The natural beauty of the area provides abundant inspiration.

She paints in acrylics and oils and works in graphite and colored pencils as well. Denise creates her art from still life, photographs, and other media in her home studio.

Education:  BFA in Art Education from the University of Texas in Austin, Botanical Illustration Program at the New York Botanical Gardens, Louisiana Tech Rome
